Terms and Conditions
These terms govern every purchase made in this shop. Please read them before ordering — placing an order means you accept them.
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Scope
These terms apply to orders placed in this shop by consumers in the European Union and elsewhere. Nothing here limits the rights that the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you.
The seller and operator of the shop is MOODSTORIES. You can reach us at order@moodstories.com.
How an order becomes a contract
Product pages are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. Your order is the offer; the contract is concluded when we confirm that order by email.
If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have ordered, we tell you and refund the amount paid in full.
Prices
All prices are shown in euro and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Shipping is charged separately and shown before you confirm: €4.99 within Europe, €24.99 to the rest of the world, and free on orders from €400.
For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may be charged on arrival. They are set by your country and payable by you.
Payment
Orders are paid online by card through Stripe, or with PayPal. Payment is taken when the order is placed.
We never see or store your full card details.
Delivery
We ship across Europe and worldwide. Once your order is dispatched you receive a tracking number by email.
Within Europe delivery normally takes 1–3 business days from the day of dispatch. Times for other destinations depend on the carrier and the destination country.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is handed to you or to someone you nominated to receive it.
Changing your mind: 14 days
If you are a consumer in the European Union you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period runs from the day you, or someone you nominated, take physical possession of the goods — and for an order delivered in several parcels, from the day the last parcel arrives.
To withdraw, tell us clearly before the 14 days are up. An email to order@moodstories.com is enough. You may use the model form below, but you are not obliged to.
Model withdrawal form — “I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [items]. Ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name, address, date.”
Send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us. You bear the direct cost of returning them unless we have agreed otherwise.
We refund every payment received from you, including the standard delivery cost, no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or you show proof that you sent them, whichever comes first. The refund goes to the same means of payment you used.
You are liable only for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling them beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Trying an item on is fine; wearing it out is not.
As Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU allows, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications, to sealed goods unsealed after delivery where return is unsuitable for hygiene reasons, or to digital gift certificates already delivered.
Returns in practice
Return an item unused, with all tags and labels intact, in a condition that still allows it to be sold as new.
Once your parcel is registered in our warehouse the refund is issued within five business days.
Write to order@moodstories.com before sending anything back and we will confirm the return address.
If something is wrong with the item
Goods must match their description and be of the quality you can reasonably expect. If they do not, you have a legal guarantee of conformity for two years from delivery under Directive (EU) 2019/771, at no cost to you.
Depending on the case you may ask for repair or replacement; and where that is impossible, disproportionate or not done within a reasonable time, for a price reduction or to end the contract and get your money back.
Report the problem to order@moodstories.com with your order number and photographs. We answer within 14 days.
Complaints and disputes
Write to order@moodstories.com. We aim to answer complaints within 14 days.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed in July 2025. If we cannot settle a complaint between us, you may turn to an approved alternative dispute resolution body in your country, or — for a cross-border purchase — to the European Consumer Centres Network.
We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, and we do not currently do so.
Images, descriptions and content
We photograph our own pieces and describe them as accurately as we can. Colours may still look different on your screen, and small variations are normal in garments finished by hand.
Obvious pricing or description errors do not bind us. If one occurs we contact you before dispatch, and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it free of charge.
The MOODSTORIES name, logo, photographs and texts are protected. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Applicable law and changes
If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you habitually reside, whatever law otherwise applies to the contract.
We may update these terms. The version that binds your purchase is the one published here when you place the order; changes never apply retroactively to orders already confirmed.
