Cookie Policy
This page explains what MOODSTORIES stores in your browser when you visit the shop, and why. The list is short on purpose: cookies are here to make the site work, not to follow you around the web.
What we store
While you browse the shop, the following is saved on your device:
- Language cookies (NEXT_LOCALE, pref_locale) — they remember the language you picked, so you don't have to choose it on every visit.
- Your browser's local storage — cart, wishlist and recently viewed products. This data stays on your device and reaches us only together with an order you place.
- Promo state — a note that you have already seen or accepted the welcome discount, so the window doesn't reappear on every page.
- Payment cookies — when you pay, Stripe and PayPal load their own secure payment window and set the cookies they need to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are set by those providers under their own policies, not by us.
- Sign-in cookies for the admin area — created only for our staff at /admin, never for shoppers.
What we don't do
We set no advertising or analytics cookies: no third-party pixels, no Google Analytics, no ad networks. The only third-party cookies on this site are the payment ones described above. Our visitor counter works without cookies at all — it counts anonymous visits on the server and cannot identify you.
How to manage cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings, or browse in private mode. Keep in mind that clearing them also empties your cart and wishlist, and the site will ask for your language again.
